Grants
Grants are funds designed to assist students with their educational expenses. Unlike loans, grants do not have to be repaid. Note that some grant programs require full-time attendance and may be affected by over awards, eligibility, and Return of Title IV (Federal) Funds.
Federal Pell Grant
Federal Pell Grants are offered to eligible students working toward their first undergraduate degree and who are admitted and enrolled in good standing. Your expected family contribution determines the amount of your award each year you apply for federal aid by completing the (FAFSA). Pell Grants range from $400 to $4,050.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Limited FSEOG funds are awarded on a funds-available basis to full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional need. Maximum award amounts depend on annual funding levels.
Oregon Opportunity Grant (Oregon Residents Only)
Oregon Opportunity Grants are offered to resident undergraduates enrolled full time. These grants may be renewed for a total of twelve terms if you remain financially eligible and maintain satisfactory academic progress. The Oregon Student Assistance Commission determines eligibility. Award amounts depend on annual funding levels.
Oregon University System Supplemental Tuition Grant
The State Board of Higher Education provides tuition grants to help offset a portion of tuition costs for 2006-07. Limited funds are available for Oregon residents who attend college full-time and who demonstrate the greatest financial need. You are not eligible to receive this grant if your tuition is paid by other sources, such as a tuition scholarship. Award amounts depend on annual funding levels.
