What is Constitution Day?
Established in 2004, Constitution Day recognizes the anniversary of when the United States Constitution was adopted back on September 17, 1787.
Constitution Day Event 2023
O'Connell Conference Educational Program
With September 17 falling on a Sunday this year, the O'Connell Conference will kick off starting on Monday September 18 with a promotional display for the conference and culminating Friday, September 22th, with the conference beginning at 1:00 PM at the Knight Law Center.
In recognition of Constitution Day, the O'Connell Conference will feature "Rights and Democracy in Flux: Recent U.S. Supreme Court Decisions" for the University of Oregon community with the four discussions about recent U.S. Supreme Court cases and the upcoming term.
