Quest Scholars Program
The Quest Scholarship will be awarded competitively to two resident and two non-resident incoming freshmen in 2012-13. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study and will cover the standard cost of tuition and fees for each recipient. On campus employment is required to be a participant in this program.
The Quest Scholarship is generously funded by a grant from the Quest Foundation.
Requirements for Consideration
In order to be considered for the Quest Scholarship, a student must meet the following requirements:
- Be an incoming freshman
- Have significant financial need
In addition, as these awards will be competitively awarded, a student must show academic excellence as exhibited in their academic transcripts and standardized test scores.
Application Procedures
Applicants must submit the following materials:

Admission application, to the Office of Admissions, submitted electronically or postmarked by January 15, 2012.

Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the federal processor by February 15, 2012. List the UO as one of your first six choices. The school code is 003223.
Selection Criteria
Selection for the Quest Scholarship is competitive and is based on the essay, academic transcripts and test scores included in the student’s UO Application for Undergraduate Admission. Financial eligibility will also be evaluated based on information provided on the FAFSA.
Scholarship Renewal
Quest Scholarships are renewable for up to 12 terms, providing recipients meet the terms and conditions specified in the scholarship award letter.
Award Notification
Recipients of Quest Scholarships will be notified by April 1, 2012.
