Due to the delay in FAFSA data being supplied to the University of Oregon, the UO is extending the confirmation deadline to June 1, 2024, for first-year students admitted for fall 2024. We are also extending the priority FAFSA filing deadline to April 1, 2024, for all UO students.

Cost of Attendance 2023-24

The cost of attendance reflects the amount of money a typical student is projected to need for school-related expenses during the academic year based on residency and degree program. Below is the cost of attendance for new incoming undergraduates. Continuing undergraduates can view tuition and fees by cohort on the Office of the Registar's website. Cost of attendance is also available for graduate students and law students.

What's Included

The cost of attendance includes the following estimated costs:

Requests for additional school-related expenses, such as: childcare, purchasing a computer, sole occupancy for undergraduates, study abroad expenses, disability related expenses, and more are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The University of Oregon may also recognize certain expenses related to the cost of obtaining a license, certification, or first professional credential if required to enter your profession.  The costs must be incurred while the student is still enrolled at UO, even if the exam itself is taken after the period of enrollment.  An example might include expenses related to taking the Law Bar Exam.

Some costs, such as personal expenses and living expenses for students that live off campus, are difficult to project and vary from student to student. We recommend you create a budget to estimate your costs more precisely.
