Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA should be completed in the January prior to enrollment at the University of Oregon each year. The school code for the University of Oregon is 003223.

We also recommend searching and applying for scholarships prior to each academic year you attend the University of Oregon.

Priority Deadline

The University of Oregon's priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is March 1. Because some types of funding are limited, we recommend submitting your FAFSA as early as possible after January 1. The FAFSA allows you to use projected figures if you have not yet completed your tax forms.

Students who submit the FAFSA after March 1 are still eligible for financial aid, but will not be considered for some funds.

After you sucessfully complete the FAFSA, the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships will determine your eligibility for aid and send you a financial aid award letter.
