The enrollment confirmation for first-year students admitted for fall 2024 is extended to June 1. Due to June 1 being a Saturday, the Office of Admissions will assist anyone experiencing technical difficulties or needing other assistance on Monday, June 3. Rest assured that this will not affect your ability to commit to the UO.

Burress Injury Law Underdog Scholarships

Our Burress Injury Law Underdog Scholarships support students who have persevered through adversity and have a passion for helping other people. For this next round of awards, we will select one recipient to receive a $5,000 award, as well as two additional recipients to receive $2,500 awards.

● Selection Criteria: You are a U.S. citizen., You have a demonstrated record of community or volunteer service., You are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university for the Fall 2024 semester.

Marcus W. Viles Community Growth Scholarship

To enter students are to write an essay of 1,000 words on the following subject:“What does your community mean to you? Discuss your commitment to both your school and the larger community. Provide examples of ways that you have benefited from and helped enrich the communities in which you are involved. This can include helping those who are injured or in need of assistance, volunteer work, tutoring, etc.”.
● Deadline: Jun 15, 2024
● Award: $2500
● GPA: 3.00
● Selection Criteria: Attend or be accepted to attend an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States, Have legal residency or citizenship in the U.S.

First-Gen Futures Scholarship

This scholarship aims to recognize and support exceptional students who are overcoming the barriers of being the first in their families to attend college.
● Deadline: Dec 1, 2024
● Award: $1000
● Selection Criteria: A first-generation college student (meaning neither of their parents has obtained a four-year college degree), Applicant must be a current U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident
● Grade Level: High School Senior, Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students

Future Leaders Scholarship

This scholarship aims to support the next generation of leaders in their respective industries so they can make an impact. Any undergraduate or graduate student with leadership skills may apply for this scholarship opportunity.

● Selection Criteria: Applicant must be a current U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident

Amplify Your Future Scholarship

Submit a 1,000-word essay discussing how technology can foster a more connected world.

● Major / Area of Study: Technology, Engineering, Communications
● Award: $3000
● GPA: 3.00
● Selection Criteria: Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. university or college.

Mental Health Advocate Scholarship

This scholarship aims to foster an environment of understanding, empathy, and support by supporting the next generation of mental health advocates. Any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who is committed to helping others through emotional and mental health support

BizInsure Architecture & Engineering Scholarship
