Interested candidates are to write a policy brief to their Congressperson or local politician detailing the gaps in the current food policy and why increased regulations will help reduce the risk for developing cancer due to carcinogens’ consumption.

Burress Injury Law Underdog Scholarships
Our Burress Injury Law Underdog Scholarships support students who have persevered through adversity and have a passion for helping other people. For this next round of awards, we will select one recipient to receive a $5,000 award, as well as two additional recipients to receive $2,500 awards.

To enter students are to write an essay of 1,000 words on the following subject:“What does your community mean to you? Discuss your commitment to both your school and the larger community. Provide examples of ways that you have benefited from and helped enrich the communities in which you are involved. This can include helping those who are injured or in need of assistance, volunteer work, tutoring, etc.”.
