This bulletin board lists scholarship opportunities from organizations outside of the UO. Click on the filters on the right to limit which scholarships are displayed. We encourage you to apply for any scholarship you are eligible for—even small amounts can add up to make a big difference.

The third parties offering scholarships listed here are not part of the UO and are not vetted or otherwise endorsed by UO. The UO has no jurisdiction or control over the terms of the scholarships, or how, when or to whom they are awarded. UO does not warrant, guarantee or otherwise indemnify any of the third parties’ actions. This list is provided merely to show a range of possible options.

The mission of Hearts for Hospice is to support:
  • Non-profit hospice and palliative care programs
  • Grief programs for children and adults
  • Education about hospice and end-of-life concerns

MKFM Resilient Student Scholarship

The MKFM Resilient Student Scholarship, worth $1,500, seeks to award students who have endured the difficulties of having parents who divorce.
● Deadline: May 12, 2025
● Award: $1500
● Selection Criteria: You are a citizen or permanent resident of the United States., Your parents are either divorced or unmarried., You are enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university for the Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 semester.

The Stuckey Firm Scholarship

The Stuckey Firm Scholarship asks students to think critically about a jury’s influence on injury cases. We want students to create videos detailing their opinions on whether injury cases’ juries should be larger or more restricted.

● Award: $2500
● Selection Criteria: Students accepted at or enrolled in accredited United States colleges, universities, and/or graduate schools

Geraldine Stephenson Scholarship

Students who are seeking a medically-related education and have had their higher education interrupted for an extended period of at least five years or more, or have been unable to complete their education due to hardship.

● Award: 10000
● Financial Need: Yes
● Selection Criteria: Must be seeking a medically-related education, Must have have recently returned to an accredited vocational, community, or four-year college after a significant interruption of at least five years due to hardship, Must be currently enrolled in a medically-related field of study in the state of Oregon

The Future of Communication Scholarship

Chanty, a platform focused on enhancing collaboration in remote and hybrid work environments. The Future of Communication Scholarship invites students to submit innovative ideas for improving digital team communication.

Children of Injured Workers Scholarship

At Hoggatt Injury Law, we are passionate about supporting workers and their families whose lives have been affected by work-related injuries. We know that workplace injuries can have far-reaching financial ramifications, including when it comes to a family’s ability to provide for their children’s educational expenses. We hope to help families address this challenge by offering a scholarship to the child of an employee who has been injured or killed in a work-related accident.

● Selection Criteria: Your parent has been affected by a work-related injury, You are a U.S. citizen

The Gold Law Firm “Challenge Yourself Scholarship

In memory of Kevin Maez (1986-2022), Attorney Greg Gold and the Colorado legal team at The Gold Law Firm provide five scholarship awards each semester to first-time college freshmen within the United States. Each award is worth $1,000, and awards will be mailed directly to the winning students’ financial aid offices.

FormsPal Scholarship Essay Contest

We are excited to announce our Annual FormsPal Scholarship Essay Contest—a financial aid opportunity for college and senior-year high school students across the United States who share our commitment to environmental sustainability.

Acker Warren Youth Mentor Scholarship

At the law firm of Acker Warren P.C., we believe that investing in youth is among the most impactful actions we can take for the future. To reflect this belief, our firm is excited to offer the Acker Warren Youth Mentor Scholarship! Inspired by Attorney Warren’s involvement in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Texas, our scholarship seeks to provide financial support for students who dedicate their time and effort to youth services, mentorships, and other related activities.

Renaissance Scholars Program

The Renaissance Scholars Program provides renewable college scholarships to talented students who will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor's degree. The scholarship award is up to $5,000 per year, renewable for up to four years. There are two scholarship deadlines, February 1st and May 1st.

Swenson & Shelley Law Scholarship

Swenson & Shelley Law is delighted to announce its annual scholarship, open to students preparing to enroll in school in the fall of 2025 as either pre-law undergraduates or first-year law students. This $1,000 scholarship aims to assist in covering expenses for students who have been accepted into schools across the United States.

● Selection Criteria: The recipient must be a U.S. citizen or possess authorization to work in the United States., The recipient must be accepted and planning to attend school either as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in the fall of 2025.

GlobalScholarships.com for International Students

Global Scholarships’ mission is to make scholarships accessible and transparent, and we would like to take one step closer to our mission by offering an external scholarship for a prospective international student. There are currently very few external scholarships that are specifically for international students, and we want to make scholarships more accessible for international students by offering this annual scholarship.

● Selection Criteria: You must be an international student, that is, you cannot be a citizen or a permanent resident of a country that you will be studying in Fall 2025.
